Icon2 Indash DVD!!

hi guys..
i have a 2003 honda accord with navigation. I wanted to install indash dvd player right underneath the stereo. I wanted to install it in a way that my factory 6 disc changer and navigation will work as well as the dvd player.

would it be possible to do the installation in a way that my factory stereo and navigation wont be affected? thanks in advance

You want 2 different headunits working at the same time, with the same speakers? I don't think that can easily be done.

Try asking in the Audio / Security / Video forum.

thanks..i dont them to work both at the same time...i will be okay if i just turn off stock radio and play indash "when i wana watch a movie or somthing" or turn off indash and listen to music...vice versa, i hope you understand what i mean.
i tried tapping into the radio harness wires and connected the indash, but the problem is that when i m watching a movie in the indash, it interferes with the navigation prompts...

"At the same time" meaning, both connected to the same speakers. Not necessarily both outputting audio simultaneously.

It doesn't work like that. You can't just wire up 2 headunits to the same set of speakers and turn one off to use the other. You'll need a headunit that allows external input, have that one connected to the speakers, and run the 2nd headunit into the 1st's input.

Besides, it is illegal to watch a movie with the car in motion. It shouldn't matter if the movie interferes with navigation, as you don't need nav when you're parked.

Its still probably doable though. The only way I can think of is as written above making use of an external input and daisy chaining them.

thanks for the reply again.
what about auxiliary input? because on the back of the headunit there is a slot for auxiliary.
