I searched all over and I found mostly images of civics.

I have a 2003 accord and I am trying to reset the srs light so that the light goes off.

Can Anybody post that image??

I believe you need a scan tool....

Reset can be done with a scan tool or manually with the MES connector.

The Memory Erase Signal (MES) connector is at the under-dash fuse/relay box. It is a 2P yellow connector with one wire being LT GRN/BLK or BLU; and the other wire BLK or BRN.

I know it can be done on 2002 and down,but i have not seen anyone do it on an 03 and up. Have you done it tech8 ?

I have a scan tool. The MES connector is still on the 7th gen Accords (2003-2007); that image is from the Honda ETM. The instructions for manual reset is in the service manual.

Starting with the 8th gen Accords, they no longer had the MES connector.

I used it to turn off the SRS light in my 03 Accord. This car will display codes all over the place, without the need for a scan tool. I got MICU codes to display in the odometer screen. I figured I would buy a scan tool, if I ever needed one for this car, but 11 years later, and I haven't needed a tool yet.

As do I ,an MVCI,which is why I was unaware if the procedure could still be done manually.

Codes are not the reason to buy a scan tool. Thats what a code puller is for. You buy a scan tool for the datastream it provides. This is a tremendous help in diagnosing faults,whether there is a dtc or not.
