Default Honda Accord 2008

Last week while driving home, I noticed the my radio was blinking. The power would turn off & back on shortly, but nothing else happen after. The following morning my Honda would not start. I waited approximately 10 minutes, and then the car turned on. But after 5 minutes, it turned off again.

My first thought was a bad battery. So I removed the battery and took it to advance auto parts to be tested. The reading said "Battery is good". Shortly after i went back home, and placed the battery back. Once the battery was placed back, and all wires connected, I turned on the car and it worked.

I got curious about the alternator being the issue. So I turned on the car again, pooped the hood open, and while the car was running i removed the battery cables. The car continued to run smoothly, so I believe is not the alternator.

From that point, I operated the car for an entire week with no issues until this morning. I stopped by the gas station, and once i was done i ran into a red light so i had to stop. Shortly after stopping, the lights inside the car started to blink, and the car turned off. I proceeded by putting the car on park, and starting up again. Everything was fine, until i arrived to work.
Right around the corner a VSA light came on the dashboard. And while turning into the parking lot my car turned off again. I had to slowly get the car into the parking lot. Following the situation, I attempted to turned on the car again, but it was completely dead.

I'm really confused with my current situation.
If someone relates with my scenario, please share your experience & suggestions. I'm starting to believe this might have to due with the fuel cap or the ignition.

I really cannot give you any advice on your issue. You said you removed the battery cables while the car was running. Please do not ever do that, all that it would take is a voltage spike from the altenator and it could take the ecu out.

^X2 - not a good thing in a modern car.

First thing I would do is have the battery checked again - what does it show....full charge, low, very low?

Inspect the battery cables (all ends of both cables) and be sure they are in good shape. Then when the battery goes back in be sure "clamps" are clean and tight.

If the car will start, test the output from the alternator and be sure it is to spec ~14.5v range.
