Has anyone experienced this problem or know how to fix?
I have a 2003 Honda Accord. When the heat is turned on (both are set to HI and AC is turned OFF), hot air blows on the passenger side 120-130 degrees and 60-70 degrees is blown on the drives side. I had it looked at by honda in my home town. They cannot figure it out because all of the gates are opening & closing when you adjust the tempeture controls. The heater core was backflushed twice. I thought maybe fresh air vents could be pulling cold air in. I live in MN and it is cold outside. I plugged all the fresh air vents that I could find and that didn't work. Can anyone give me some advices or have you experienced this problem?

Well pulling the fresh air vent wouldn't cause this. I think you look for a blend door motor that's still work, but has been stuck and the motor tried to move it and stripped out were the motor connects to door. That's what it sounds like to me.

I think what the dealer did was hook it up to there scanner and commanded the doors to open and close. The motor works but the door stuck. I think that's why they couldn't find anything.
Hope this helps

Is it a blend motor or are you saying a temperature control motor? Where is the blend motor located? The doors are opening fine visually. Thanks.

In a Junkyard near you.
It's still the heater core. The same thing happens on CR-V's and Elements. We don't have the capability of commanding the blend doors with the HDS.
What you CAN do is run the self diagnostic on the climate control and see if you get any DTC's
I doubt you will find any though.
