Hand Break & TCS Indicators On (2003 Accord Coupe V6)

Hello Folks,
I need some help here with my Accord Coupe 2003 V6.
The Hand Break light is on lately whenever the car is started and it stays on all time, even though the Hand Break is not in use. Also, as soon as the HB light is on, the Traction Control System (TCS) would come up right after.
I have been told this could be the Hand break switch not functioning properly for some reason that in turn causes the TCS light to go on as well, and the only way to check it out is to open the console in that area.
If this is the case, can someone please advice me how to open the console in the Hand Break area?

Make sure you have enough brake fluid in the master cylinder. also try to turn the car off and unplug the float switch thats in the master you will see a small two pin connector that is pluged into the master cylinder resivour after you unplug it start the car, if the light goes off and stays off you need a new master cylinder or just leave the connector unpluged.
