DIY Manual transmission fluid
Any DIY's on how to change MTF? I still can't locate the filler bolt...i can only find the drain bolt

I assume the 05 6MT is the same as the 06. That being the case, the fill is almost directly below the medial edge of the air-box on the top side of the transmission. About the size of a dollar coin with a square cut-out. You will need a 3/8 socket extension. It uses the drive itself so no socket is required. I found it easier if I pulled the air-box cover so I could move the intake ducting out of the way. The fill amount in the manual was about dead-on for me.
