A/C woes
Ok, 2004 honda accord ex with 2.4 and auto tranny.
AC won't work unless high pressure switch is bypassed.
temp outside was about 75°f
Low pressure - 30 psi
High pressure - around 180 psi
Shut it down and immediately low pressure rises. I walked away for 10 min to tackle something else and low/high pressure equaled out when I returned (approx 80psi).
When switch bypassed and car idling vent temp is 22°F. When running around 1500, vent temp is around 15°F and even with high pressure switch bypassed, the condensor fan and pump kick out for about 5 seconds all while maintaining approx 15-22°F vent temp.
Attempted to reach through bumper to test switch, set meter on 20k ohms and reading was around 0.190 if memory serves me correctly.
I'm stumped, what do you guys n gals think my next step should be?
sorry for thr lengthy post but wanted to include everything so far. Thanks in advance!

Re: A/C woes
Checked resistance, I just checks for continuity and did not pass. Guess I'll order a pressurr switch then. Damn, I'll have to buy more refrigerant now. Dumb question, will I need to add any oil when recharging?
