A/C: Driver side Warm, Passenger Cool, Neither side adjustable
I have a new problem that's started with my 2006 Honda Accord V6 this year, since trying to use my A/C.
The driver side gets slightly cooler than the outside temperature, but nowhere near as cool as the passenger side, which easily gets cold.
In addition, neither side changes in temperature when I adjust the temp from Low up to 86 degrees (whether in sync or dual mode). But once I move either **** one click up from 86 to High, then either side switches over to blowing out hot air.
Is it simply a problem with the temperature motor assembly on the driver side, or is it something else, since neither side changes in temperature when adjusting the *****?
Thanks!

Re: A/C: Driver side Warm, Passenger Cool, Neither side adjustable
Update: I checked for any HVAC diagnostic codes, and there weren't any. I also looked underneath the driver side, and I can see that the temperature motor does adjust when I change the temperature. But still it never gets as cold as the passenger side.
Also since this morning, the temperature adjustments do seem to change the temperature, though not always and not predictably.

Most car air conditioning system will eventually need refrigerant added. It may not be anything to worry about; other then getting a recharge. I would just go to a shop to test, evacuate and recharge the a/c system. Many shops have machines that can do it relatively quickly.
