Bal joint seperate tool

Bal joint seperate tool
I am in middle of changing CV boot on passenger side. I got loose all
the parts except ball joint. I used hammer and chisel to knock the lower
control arm, tried using two jaws puller, but couldn't separate the ball
joint from control arm. My next step would try this tool.
Does any one tried this tool?

Any trick or tips are appreciated.

Feed back on this tool.
The tool doesn't work on my Accord 03. The fork is quite small,
it cannot surround the ball joint, so it cannot stay there when
I turn the bolt for pressure. I think Honda recommended tool
(07MAC-SL00200) has wider fork and can get into deeper around
the Ball Joint.
I end up remove lower control arm from frame (one 17mm and one
19mm bolts) and got the driveshaft out, which was much easier.
Now, I am facing a problem, it makes metal to metal like "thump"
when the car run over a pump. It certainly not CV, cause it has no clicking
noise when I turn and it should not be ball joint, cause they never
left control arms.
I have tried to remove the wheel and retied bolts for ball joint, sway bar
linkage, lower and upper on absorber fork, for upper and lower control
arms and wheel nut.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
