2003-2007 accord 1/4 mile times?
I want to get a 03-07 accord for around 6000 cash, 4 cylinder, stick shift. does anyone know about the 0-60 times and 1/4 times? Im not looking to have a fast car, or a slow car. just want something peppy enough to have fun with, and have enough room, size and safety.
from what i can see, it should be a little slower than a em1? a em1 is 15.5 stock on the 1/4 i believe. that is like.. 2600 lbs, 160 hp, 1.6 engine, DOHC.
the accord i think is 3000 lbs, 2.4 engine, same hp, more torque, longer gear ratios. I have driven a em1 for a few months, just want something more bigger.
Im not really trying to bench race or whatever you may call it. i will probably slap an intake on it, and thats about it. a EM1 is not fast or slow, just a sporty car.. unless its heavily modified.

Re: 2003-2007 accord 1/4 mile times?
I have the 2003 I4 in the 5spd AT. The first thing I did was an SRI, and she hit 0-60 in a little over 8 sec and the 1/4 just over 16 sec. Throw some sways and the intake on it, and (while it isn't a rocket) its definitely fun to drive.

I wish they'd post their sources, though.
