Airbag light/Seat belt Sensor light on

Airbag light/Seat belt Sensor light on
I had aftermarkert leather put in my 2009 honda accord today. My car has side airbags. The seats look sweet, but the airbag light stays on now. What do I do? Do I go back to the upholstory guy, or do I go to the dealer. Is there a real risk that the airbags won't deploy?
Any and all help that you guys have would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Airbag light/Seat belt Sensor light on
when weight is put on the seat, there is a sensor that triggers the airbag light. i had that happen to me when i put my backpack on it. so i'm guessing the leather is "weighing" down the sensors and initiating the airbag light

Re: Airbag light/Seat belt Sensor light on
well I stopped by the uphostory place today. The main guy wasn't there, but one of his minions did something with my passenger side seat sensors and the light is off now. Not sure what he did (non english speaker), but I forsee a trip to dealer in the near future.
In all, my car interior is hot like fire!
