I cleared the code manually using the SCS Service Connector to the MES 2P Connector under the left side of the dash. It is the only way to manually reset the SRS indicator I have ever seen from Honda. Check out http://traffic.alldatadiy.com/...61766for all your troubleshooting on the SRS system.

so you are saying that you took your car into a dealership and they said they couldnt find anything wrong and jsut shipped the car with the srs light still on. i find that hard to believe because that is a major liability. alot of times with the srs light on the airbags are disabled. i would take the car back to the dealership and demand that they fix the light.

If the SRS light is on and there is no code you either have a bad srs unit or a bad alternator.

can you elaborate why the alternator would cause the srs light to stay on?????

I am fighting the same problem. I replaced the srs module but the light wont reset and when I try to pull a code it does not blink.

thnks

I got this car from my sister and by looking at the front she had a couple small fender benders. However, I believe she said they were while the car was parked at a mall.

I suspect that the battery light would come on if the alternator was bad.
