Default Advice on #2 Cylinder Misfire.

Ok, My wife has a 2008 Honda Accord with 68,000 Miles on it. We already had a coil pack replaced once last April, and along with the coil pack the invoice shows new plugs, and a reprogramming of the Power Control Module (PCM). This cost me $240 at that time. Now Ill keep a long story short as possible. Its out of warranty and recently started misfiring again. The Check Engine light came on and Also the PCM light just to the right of the Engine light. I ran it by a auto parts store and they ran a diagnostics which showed a #2 CYL. misfire. He cleared the code and I got it home with just a little misfire. I put seafoam in hopes that we had just got some bad fuel. I still took it to the Honda Dealership this morning and they said there was nothing that they can do until it throws another error code for them to read. I left and took the vehicle home. This evening as soon as I cranked the vehicle the check engine light was again on along with the PCM light. I took it straight to a very trust worth mechanic shop instead of the Dealer. This mechanic does all my work on all my other vehicles and has always treated me right. When I talked to him about the vehicle he told me to just leave it with him and he'd get to it first thing in the morning. My concerns are this: If it where to be a bad coil pack again does the PCM not have to be re-flashed or reprogrammed? I'm just trying to get a little advice before I make a mistake. I'm sure my mechanic knows what hes doing and I do intend on asking questions tomorrow before he starts working on it. Thanks.

You don't need a reflash after a coil pack replacement.

Check spark plugs to and see what's the condition. Make sure the injector is firing. Assuming your coil is good since you already replaced it. Last would be compression.
