2015 Accord Coupe Window Tints
Hey everyone I just purchased a 2015 accord coupe and wanted to add tints to the car. My question is since the back window is not frameless nor can't be rolled down are police able to test the rear window and rear side windows. I am curious because I live in Illinois where I must have 35% all around or anything lower than 35% in the back with maximum 75% on the front side windows. I want to have 20% on the rear windows and 35% on the front windows. I was wondering if there is anyway I can get the rear windows tested. I don't want to put tints on to remove them later. I just want to know if there is anyway to test them since the windows don't roll down.

Wouldn't the company installing the ting know the %? Or if nothing else it would take two to test, one inside with the light and the other on the outside with the "reader/tester"

There is a way. Some tint meters have a piece that you stick to the glass on each side and it measures it for windows where you can't slide the actual window down. My local tint shop has a meter that is able to do this. That being said, I have no idea if police in your area have these or if they just have a regular meter that will slide over windows. I'm sure it varies by the area.
