2012 Accord AC Compressor Fuse Keeps Blowing
I am new to the forum, but had a question regarding the AC Compressor Fuse on my 2012 Honda Accord. Over the past week or so, my AC has stopped working. It came to my attention that the AC Compressor fuse was blown. After I changed the fuse, the AC will work for a little while before it blows again. Usually I am able to drive it 1-2 times before the fuse blows again. I took it to the dealership and they said it was a bad relay. Changed the relay/fuse and the next day the AC stopped working again due to the fuse being blown.
Took it back to the dealer and they wanted to change out the AC clutch and coil for $900. Decided to take the car back as I know I can take it to a local AC shop and have the entire compressor replaced for less than what they wanted to just replace the AC clutch and coil. However, I am not fully convinced that is the issue. When I spoke to the Honda service manager, he said the technician had to call Honda in order to diagnosis it because he was unsure what the issue was.
Anyone have any idea's what I might try before I replace the entire compressor? I was going to look at the wiring first to make sure I did not see any obvious issues, but beyond that, I am unsure what else to try. If it is the Compressor I have not issue fixing it, just do not want to replace something that isn't broke.
Thanks!

It can be the compressor clutch or a short in the wiring from the compressor clutch relay to the compressor clutch. Sometimes it is not the clutch, as there can be a short to ground or another wire, when there is a certain movement/vibration on the wiring.

sytntyt - Sorry, forgot to include that info. It is a 2012 Accord EX with a 4-cylinder 2.4L, no navigation.
tech8 - Thanks, that is kind of what my impressions were.
