Default 2003 Accord v6 Front End Collision

Hello Forum,
My son had a front end collision. No comprehensive. 130k miles. My husband and I would like to repair as much as possible ourselves. It drives straight, no dash lights or weird sounds. It drives like it did before the accident. We've already taken off the side panels, headlights, the soft front bumper. Battery wasn't moved. Passenger door has lightly hits side panel when opening. Take a look at the pics. I wasn't sure which views would be most helpful. I can take more if needed. We'd appreciate your advice and opinions thanks.

Hi there. Sorry to say, you're probably not going to get much help on bodywork here. Also, I believe your pictures show a I4 Accord, not a V6. You would have been better off having a body shop do a written estimate and going off that, especially if you're planning on doing it yourself. Given you've got the car apart already, that is not an option. Find a website with pictures and go from there. Use a FSM. But find out the model and engine type before you go any further. Good luck.

Looks like some of the upper structure will have to be cut out and replaced with new. This will require removing everything bolted to the parts to be replaced such as the radiator, condenser and wiring harnesses. The replacement fenders, hood, etc will have to be readily available for the frame shop to make sure everything lines up correctly. You should still be able to get a close estimate, even with the car partially disassembled.Another thought is to determine which frame pieces are damaged and visit your local dealer to see how they are sold.I'm sure most of what you will need is available aftermarket(LKQ).Good luck!

I can't really tell which is the frame rail but the radiator support is gone, radiator is gone, you might have a slow ac leak. Not sure how you're gonna plan on straightening out the support but its doable, just not a suggestive thing to do. What if he gets into another front end collision again?
