hey everyone.
today I started having a strange problem with my 2003 accord. I tried looking around and people are usually describing a problem which is the opposite of mine. so here we go...

driver's door won't unlock using the remote key or the button on the inside of the door. but it locks just fine using either the remote key or the inside button.

all other doors lock/unlock just fine. all windows work normally too.

so right now the only way to unlock the door is by inserting the key into the lock..or lifting up the lock rod if opening from inside.


does anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it.

hi again everyone.
reading some other internet stuff and talking to some experienced people I decided to replace the actuator in the door.

so I did replace it today.....and nothing changed...at all. same symptoms. the door locks just fine (with either the remote key or the switch on the inside of the door). but it won't unlock. when using a remote key, upon pressing the "unlock" button, front lights would flash twice (meaning the car gets the signal from the remote)....but the door won't unlock .

hopefully it's not the body control unit...cause given the price for a replacement...I probably won't bother fixing it.

if anyone has any suggestions - please let me know.
