Default 06-07 Gauge Cluster into 03-05

After looking around here as well as v6performance.net I couldn't really find any specific information. All that I have been able to gather is that I looked at a few very poor pictures of used clusters from the 03-05 and 06-07 and the connectors on the top look very similar. I'm sure the connectors would vary depending on the trim level of the car it came out of. Any idea's any places I should start looking to find more information? It looked like the mounts were in the same place as those in the 03-05. I'm new to these forums, but I'll be posting some how to's about replacing simple stuff like door handles and door checkers, eventually a power steering pump.

Thanks!

03-05 is different than 06-07, the plug. if you look @ the pics, if the plug is green its 03-05 i believe, if its gray(light gray) its from 06-07. let me know if you buy a 06-07 cluster and how the conversion works out, im trying to do the same thing.

If the plugs are different, all u may need is a wire diagram and just re-wire ...

that probably true, but im looking for a clean install, so i sorta need the 06-07 plug so i dont have to mess up the cluster. im having a very hard time sourcing the plug. =T
