'05 Accord, can my door lock be rekeyed to match master key?
Bought a '05 Accord DX and got 2 sets of keys. 2 masters and supposedly 2 "valet" keys. Well it turns out these valet keys do nothing other than open the driver's side door.
They open no other locks in the car or the passenger door. They can't even start the car! So obviously it looks like someone broke the driver's side lock and it had to be replaced. But the "valet" keys have the factory look on them and look just like a honda valet key. They have the hard black plastic on the top of the key with the chromeless honda logo on both sides.
So did the dealership cut spare keys with all the valet key features just for 1 lock? Couldn't they have just replaced the door lock with a new one rekeyed to the master key?
Now I'm in the hunt for a car locksmith that may be able to do this (rekey my driver's side door so that my master key can open it).
Also this car was a trade-in bought at a Nissan dealership, so it's out of the question for me to go back to these guys and ask them to get this situation right.
So anyone had experience with this?

I have done more than enough of these to help you. If you take the lock cylinder out of the car you can take it to the dealership and they might rebuild it for you. Call first to see. If not Im not sure if you can buy the pins that are inside of the lock or not. The dealership I work at charges like $250. Maybe Nissan will pay for it or at least spilt the cost.
