Default wiring differnces between 95 and 96 accord engine

i have a 95 accord and got a good deal on the same engine out a 96 accord that was wrecked. Its the 2.2 vtec, ok so i took the old engine out and switched the wiring harness over to the new motor because the guy just cut the other one to get it out quick and while i was wiring it up i noticed there are acouple sensors that are differnt, i figured out if i changed the intake manifold from the old one to the new one it would fix one of the problems i was having with some vaccum lines not working together and to get the sensor under the coil. The problems i am having is the plugs on the distribtor are differnt so can i just change distribtors? and on the pulley side of the engine on the bottom a sensor comes out of the engine and mounts right near where the water pump is located what is that sensor and am i gonna have to get the other wiring harness to be able to use this engine? Please help

which harness should i get? and would i still need the harness if i used a obd2 ecu? by the way i have a automatic transmission i know that makes a differnce, im trying to put a new transmission in my car at the same time so the engine and transmission would both be obd2
