Where 2 find A Accord transponder key?
Does any one know the part number for the accord tranponder key for a 2000? or were to find a real oem honda blank for cheap?

eBay, it is kind of hard to find OEM ones but those AM keys are really works, I bought a cheap AM transponder key the other day for my mom's avalon and it works just exactly like OEM keys. Good luck!

Some dealers have one # or the other, both the same thing tho.
The confusing part is programming. If you have an existing key, the dealer will usually not cut you the above part number. They will cut you what is called a T5 key (slightly cheaper at about $27.00 and requires no manual labor), which is a key that is able to have its transponder cloned directly from your original key via an Ilco key code duplicator.
The above part # cannot be cloned via the duplicator and therefore requires manual labor to have a tech program it directly to the car, which usually costs the price of the key (about $40.00) and is the route you have to take if you've lost all other keys.
