what's the best spark plug for 94 Accord LX?
I need to change my spark plugs now. i have 85K miles. I think it still has the original wires, so i probably need to change those as well. What is the best spark plug to buy? or which one is the best value for money? I was thinking about the bosch platinum +4, i heard that those are good, but they are expensive. Someone was telling me that the NGK split fire is good enough. what do you guys think?
Bosch is always boasting about better gas milage and incerased power. i want to know your opinions and experiences with this.

You should just stick with factory spec. stuff. If you're not running any F/I, n2o or anything like that, buying more expensive stuff is just good for emptying your wallet faster.

bosh platnum or stock work just fine for factory applications. I changed my plugs at 87K with bosh plugs. Now at 103K still have the original spark plug wires as there is nothing wrong with them.....

Ok, thanks for the clear up, i have been doing my investigation, and now i understand that those guys at boch and all those other companies are trying to trick us to spend unnecessary money on a stock engine.

According to most honda manuals the platinum plugs are the best.
Splitfire's and those other +4 plugs will actually decrease the performance of your engine unless you use something like MSD ignitions computers, coils, and spark plug wires.
I just replaced my NGK's with Bosch's platinum (std) at 88K mi...they work great.

I replaced my NGK with Bosch platinum, just 1 electrode @ $2.19 ea. works well. The NGKS would've cost $10 ea. The multi electrode thing is poo, a plug shoots only 1 spark at a time. Electricity always travels the path of least resistance, so most likely only 1 electrode will fire at a time.
