What are some good aftermarket brake pads simaler to oem ???
Ive been doing a little research and many different brands of brakes pad. All of them claim this and that but I dont know which one will fit my expectation. Im looking for a pad with better and smoother braking and a long pad life as opposed to high performance brake pads that wear out before you know and your wheels are constantly black. The two brands im currently looking at are the axxis ultimate pads and the hawk pads. Which one is a better buy? Is there another brand that you would recommend that you like better? Any input would be great....

I've got EBC Greenstuff pads and very happy with them. OEM pads work real well too, but dust ALOT and seem a bit harsher on rotors. The EBC don't dust quite as much and seem to be a little easier on the rotors, causing them not to warp as easily.

the pads distributed by AEM are nissin (oem) pads. just slightly more aggressive compound.

Thats another thing I dont want is the rotors warping which is basically the reason why im getting new rotors and pads. I didnt know some pads came make the rotors warp easier than others. Does it have to do with the compound of the pad at all?

AEM pads are the closest to stock perforamnce pads you can get, teheya re made by Nissin who makes hte OEM pads, and dust about the same as OEM but provide better braking.

their all about the same except ebc which are for performance and needs a little heat to warm up. i'd say go with oem or hawk, pricewise their about the same, but performance wise i don't see much of a big jump.

Look, I just got some aftermarket ceramic pads and they work fine. Cost me about 15.00 for the box of them.
Those name brand pads you are paying for you are paying for a name in my opinion....
