Smoke coming from breather on head gasket
I have a 91 Honda Accord with a F22B1 2.2l Turbo. A few days ago smoke started coming out of a breather that is attached to the top of the head gasket. when i give the engine throttle oil boils through the breather and the smoke smells of burning oil. dont know what the problem is.

Re: Smoke coming from breather on head gasket
Do you mean a breather in the valve cover?
A bit of smoke from the vlave cover is normal. It is blow by gases from the cylinders that makes it's way up from the crank case. This is an issue where you will have to look into getting a legitimate oil catch can setup vs just having a breather on the valve cover venting crank case gases into the atmosphere.
If it is smoking really really bad. I would say that you may need a cylinder hone and some new piston rings.
