I searched all over many forums to fix my problem and finally just started diagnosing myself. I wanted to share my findings to help others. The sunroof has two drain lines to the front of the car. Both travel down the a pillars, connect to a boot, and go out each side. I had both of mine come loose from the boot and pour water in my floorboards at different times.

All I could find was diagrams of the sunroof, but no location as to where it exited. The driver side was easy as it could be seen with a flashlight under the console behind the fuse panel.

The passenger side was tough because of the air box being in the way. Everyone said I had to take the blower motor and housing out, but I didn't want that headache. Here is what I did. I took the passenger fuse panel and kick plate off and used a long screw driver to move some wires. the below image is of the drain out of the boot.


I then took a long pair of double X needle nose pliers ($20 at Advance) and put the hose back in.
It was a tight fit but worked and saved me several ours of labor. Here is what it looked like back in.


End result is water flow outside the car...

My theory is the tubing shrinks over time and pulls out. My 02 Accord barely had engagement between the tubing and drain and tubing was not too pliable. I accessed from pass side fuse panel, disconnected several wire harnesses (green connectors), reached in & pulled tube end rearward & heated it with propane torch under tension with pliers. May have stretched it 3/8"-1/2". Note a few burn marks. I wedged my hand between dashboard frame and door pillar (tight fit) to mate the 2 up again. Can't believe no snap, hose clamp or anything to hold these together like at the top. Already had this problem on driver side too. Rectangul hole on right is for harness retainer. Once harnesses reconnected tubing will be obscured from view. Happy dry floorboards !

OK so FFW a year. Tubes still pull out & wet carpets. Went to Home Depot, bought 1/2" ID PVC tubing as a coupling to add 1/2" OD tubing also from HD to extend into the drain elbow. Tubing slips into elbow ~1.5". Glued the PVC tubing using vinyl/pool repair glue and fitted this assy to the sunroof tubing then into the elbows. Did not glue to the elbow or existing sunroof tubing. Fit over existing sunroof tubing tight but would have liked tighter fit inside elbows. Seems like plenty of length / not likely to pull out anymore. Will report back if this leaks. Tubing was available by the foot in WV but only by the roll in CT. A nice clerk in CT gave me a foot no charge. Maybe try Lowes or local hardware store if need be. After this saga no more sunroofs for me !

I was going to post my similar experience but then found this. I will put up the photos anyway, just to further illustrate what's required to try to correct this ridiculous, pathetic excuse for engineering. If you've ever owned old air-cooled VWs you know about rinky-dinky set-ups in otherwise nicely designed concepts. I appreciate the Honda now that I've worked on them some, but this sunroof drain is just preposterous.
Anyway, here's a few more pics. Like the OP, I left the stuff in place that truly

allows access to the passenger side tubes and instead struggled to reconnect the tubing after disconnecting and pushing aside the wiring along the pillar. After pulling plastic trim off, glove box is removed and the two metal cross members. I could reach around from beneath and touch the "boot" or "elbow". One pic shows my screwdriver stuck in the boot. I pulled the more rigid, clear tube, which is way too short to rest securely in the boot, much less stay there, towards me. I then pushed a short length of garden hose over this. Into the garden hose I slid a short length of old, rigid air line hose, then guided this into the boot with the screwdriver. Then I dabbed gasket maker onto the tubing with the screwdriver. 2 1/2 hours into it I was happy to reconnect the wiring and bolt it all back together. Then it leaked two days later when it rained. Sigh.

Don't despair, maybe give it another try. About 2.5 years on my repair and still staying dry inside.
Good tip to disconnect battery. I definitely had a spark when manipulating loose connectors...

Thanks Greg. It's always funny when I resist my brain when it says, "Dude, maybe unhook the battery for this one". As if it's some huge hassle.
Yes, I know, if I intend to drive it I need to get back in there and try again. In fact, it was nearing dark, and well past dinnertime when I was finally ready to try to reconnect the tubes. I should have closed shop for the night and come back to it.
