Re: valve adjustment (onelove619)
All Honda V6 engines thru 2002 use mechanical cam followers which require periodic adjustment for quite operation.
The specifications are as follows:
Intake Values: .008 to .009"
Exhaust Valves: .011 to .013"
Refer to your Helm, Chiltons or Hanes Shop Manual for the correct proceedure.
(You do own one, RIGHT?)

a valve adjustment isn't hard. You only need a few tools to complete the job. It's mostly about feel. After the first set of valves, you should be getting the hang of it. Just follow the directions in your shop manual and you shouldn't have any problems.

As Honda-Master offered:

step by step instruction
It is not difficult. Time consuming and detail intensive yes, but not difficult. With the proper tools, a bright and moderate Saturday before you and a ready supply of liquid fortitude available; it may not only be an enjoyable effort but also one forgotten (depending on how much "fortitude' you consume).
Take your time, have the GF or Significant Other check up on you occasionally and you'll be done in no time (almost)
