Default turbo on a f22

So I bought a 60 trim turbo that I plan on running in my 91 accord. I am shooting for 8-10 psi. The problem that I'm haveing is there's 286k on this motor. I'm unsure if there's been an work done to it. But the question that I have is. Is my tuturbo to big of a trim? This is going on the f22b. Amd in the future a f20b dohc vtech. Thanks.

Why on earth would you spend money on a turbo setup if you're going to swap in a completely different motor? You're throwing your money away.

Read the Turbo F thread in the Forced Induction section. I'd certainly hope you've done a thorough inspection (compression test, maintenance, etc) on your F22 if you're going to turbo it with that many miles.

Yeah. I did all that. Compresion ia good all the wau across. And I can swap everything over from this motor over. I've done that much research. But the new motor wont be swapped for a few thousand miles. I'm revbuiliding it and that **** takes money

Well considering the manifold is a different exhaust port design you're going to be replacing that......

0_0_0_0

versus

0_00_0

Then the IC piping will be slightly different, the dump will be different, etc. So if by everything over you mean the intercooler and turbo, you'd be right! Going from an H22A to an F20B is not a big difference. The F20B is nearly identical to the H22.

And if it's just for a few thousand miles, why the hell not wait? Again, your money and time. But it seems dumb to me to be redoing the same work.

I agree with TheMuffinMan, no point in going through all the effort of building of throwing the turbo on the F22 if you plan on swapping soon anyway. Just spent that time and money in your new motor.

Yeah the above posts are 100% correct. Why do more work than you need to? But it's your choice. I can tell you everything done when I did my swap was designed to be done once. Only when the motor comes back out to be "built," is the only thing done twice. It saves time and money for other go fast parts.
