Refer to Sig for vehicle

So I hit a curb going 10MPH in a parking lot due to zero visibility. I jump the curve got an alignment IMMEDIATELY after. As I was doing the alignment I noticed the inner tie road that goes to my steering rack had a thump and there was a lot of free-play on the left tie road and also in my steering wheel. Caster was -4.3 degrees on the left side which I hit the curb.. Camber was fine all four corners. Toe was off but was re-aligned. Now after I realigned everything back to specs, the steering wheel was still tilted, yes I aligned it correctly with steering wheel straight with brake pedal depressor and steering wheel lock. Say if youre driving with your hands in the 10 o clock and 2 o clock position my 2 would be now 4 o clock position so it drives straight. So Im like uhh put it back on the rack check alignment and double check all nuts and bolts are torqued. Same thing wheel is turned 2 hours clock wise. I checked all suspension parts they were good by visual inspection with no bends/cracks.


Would the steering rack be the problem in this case? I align my car every month due to auto-x and ever changing conditions. I have an alignment rack at my disposal so would be the abnormal extra free-play in the LEFT inner tie rod be the culprit in this situation?
