Default Start then immediate stop.

89 accord lxi, sometimes when i start the car it seems successful but then stalls. It seems to be random.

If the car also occasionally will crank nice and fine but won't start, then it sounds like a main relay problem. Mine would start and then immediately stop as there was only enough fuel delivery to get it started.

Search for main relay, and check for the fuel pump priming when you turn the key to the on position when it refuses to work (have someone listening at the gas cap for instance).

It could also be a bad ignition switch.

From what I have been find on the internet I'll go for the main relay approach first. I'll post the results. Thanks

Re-soldered some points on the circuit board. Seems to be working fine.
