What is the speaker size for the front and rear speakers of my Accord LX, 1993? I think it is 6.5" but i am not sure. How deep of a speaker can i fit in the front doors? If i get components where should i put the tweeter? I'm thinking about getting some MB Quart Coaxials, or some Infinity, MB, or alpine components. What kind should i get?

All the brands you listed are very creditable...and as far as the size goes I believe your doors are 4" and rears are 6.5"...

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that you can make 6.5'' fit in the front. My civic was supposed to have 4'' in the front. I took the plastic bracket that held the speaker and cut out the necesarry parts to make it fit. Easy as hell. Should be the same on an accord.

I dunno about how much treble you like, but I had front and back speakers in my old accord that were all 3-way's. They were clear enough for me, even over my 2 MTX-6000 12's.

My 92 LX (same as yours) has Pioneer 6 1/2's in the front and rear. Max watt on them is 180 I think. They fit perfect in the doors.....and of course no problems in the rear.

You'll have to cut the harness though, you'll see what I mean when you swap the speakers out. Just remember...red and blue and positive for when hooking up your new speakers.

Installation time in the rear, 30 min.
Installation time in the front, 60 min. (I didn't pop my door panels off all the way.)

in my 95 (not sure how different they are) they are 4" speakers, but they sit in a metal tray kind of thing that bolts to the car with the cover, You could take a dremmel or tin snips to them to fit 6x9s...

bb and other stores suck *****. they told you the CORRECT speaker size for the REAR speakers. so how is that bullshit? are you talking about the front ones? what is it your even talking about here? were talking about fronts and rears. on fronts you can fit 6 1/2's i sure did. and the fronts 6x9 so whats the problem?

And my rears turned out to be 6x5, and they even measured it quick and still gave me the wrong information.

What do you guys think about these ? Will it be relatively easy to install into the stock grille ? And is there any fabrication that will be needed ? Btw my car is a 93 accord lx .

and i have also covered the bottom side of the speaker to make it air tight. it sounds so dam good
