Hey all, I was recently doing some work on my old 1993 Accord LX Automatic to root out a pervasive misfire (Turned out to be clogged EGR passages), when I noticed that my front and rear engine mounts are completely shot-as in, total separation, which would explain the vibration issues she's been having lately.

I want to get a set of replacement mounts, but my searches online have hinted that most available mounts these days are stiff and therefore transmit a lot of vibration to the cabin, and I cannot find the OEM mounts ANYWHERE, at least not for less than half the value of the car itself. Now, I like to use this car as my personal cruiser-lazy driving in high comfort. I do not race the vehicle, nor do I believe it is capable of it if I wanted do, being full stock and all.

The question I have for you guys is simple. Are there any aftermarket mounts available that are as soft or softer than the OEM ones or that simply do not send any vibration to the cabin? As said before, they need not be tough or stiff, the car is never pushed above 4k RPM or floored from a stop let alone raced, I just want to keep my soft, comfortable ride. Thanks!

I tried DEA brand mounts and they were really soft - probably softer than stock. They were also horrible quality and I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.

The Anchor mounts are slightly stiffer but are probably closer to OEM.

I've had trouble with Anchor mounts. The holes sometimes are not drilled properly, so they don't fit.

I've spend more on aftermarket mounts and honestly... haven't noticed a difference.

Anchor mount user here. Compared to the factory mounts they appeared to be the same with same tool markings and stampings. Only thing I could not test was rubber durometer. For me they worked fine.

Huh. Ok, Anchor actually looks pretty good-I somehow completely missed them when I did my research before. Ill probably go with their stuff and hope for the best.
