Default Smell from exhaust

Hi,

I just recently got a 2003 Accord Ex 4 cylinder. It has around 2,000 miles on it. Ive noticed over the past month that this really funky smell has been coming from somewhere in the car. My boyfriend and I determined that it is most likely coming from the exhaust, although at times it seems to be coming from the vents. At any rate, I'm not dumb and I know exhaust fumes dont smell great, but this smell can be very strong. The best way I can really describe it is it smells like some one took a $hit in the backseat(pardon my language) it smells like A$$. It only usually lasts for about 15 seconds and happens at totally random times with no rhyme or reason. Do you guys think I should take it in. I hate to think that something may be wrong with a brand new honda and I dont want to get the "unable to duplicate problem" bullshit the dealer gives you. THank you for you help.....HONDA=

I personally would take it back.. That car is way too new to be having problems. They should most likely fix it for free. If the dont, give em hell!

a faulty Catalytic Convertor smells like rotten eggswhen it goes bad. You should eventually get a computer code ...

Check for that...

I would certainly check that out since it is under warranty.
