I've always used white lithium grease (spray).

Application: take off the door panel, have the windows all the way up, clean the tracks with q-tips, then spray the track and run your finger up and down it to get the grease inside. Then put the window all the way down and do the same to the top parts of the track.

I would clean them out good with some Q-tips and some alcohol first, then use this stuff.

I used that and it's just like what they used

i used the silicone spray and it works.............temporaily that is. it was a bit messy for me. once it gets all on the window itself, you have to take the time to clean it as well. otherwise it will look like you have glue all on it. i have yet to take off my window panel off but seems as though this will be a proper way of doing it. if cleaning the tracks don't work, the window regulator could just be going out.

NAH HA! yeah that's the stuff, rubber cement, couldn't think of the name at all, if you use a razor blade or scissors and slide around the outside of the glue you should be able to loosen it, I was able to just slowly rip mine off (10 yr old glue )
