Default Exhaust Silencer (searched)

I have a magna flow muffler and i put a 4inch tip on it, i was wondering if there was a silencer i can get besides just getting a resonator. Its not that my exhaust is too loud, but theres a time and a place for it. I want to be able to silence it when need be.

brand name doesn't matter for a silencer, just as long as it's 4" diameter. You will probobally have to drill a hole for the bolt.

the tip is 4 inches, but its welded onto the muffler which is a 2.5 inch outlet. Will the silencer fit into the tip or the original outlet on the muffler?

silencers make the tone alot more high pitched, and they're not gonna fit in the tip unless they're made for the tip

so cut that long tube to length so it will fit. Maybe it's just my cheap *** side talking, but just cause something wasn't made to fit, doesn't mean that it won't fit.
