Roaring noise
Hi guys,
I've seen lots of threads that have helped me in working on my 1996 Honda Accord, so thanks.
However, I have a roaring noise / slight vibration in the front of my car. It sounds like it is coming from the front left area. When I am going in a straight line at speeds over 30 mph, it makes the roaring noise, if I turn left it still makes it. However, when I turn right the noise and vibrations are eliminated. Is this the front left wheel bearing going out? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Roaring noise
lf bearing most likely. hard to say without seeing/hearing. jack up that wheel and see if you can feel any vertical play in the bearing by pusing and pulling on the top and bottom of the tire.

Have a 98 Civic Ex automatic that makes a roaring noise above 15 mph and gets louder the faster I go. Bearings are ok. Transmission in neutral or braking doesn't change the sound.
