Painting Valve Cover?
Whats the best way to paint a valve cover on the old style Honda 16 valve motor?
I was going to sand blast it, then paint it with some high heat paint, would it be nessescary to add a top coat to it?

If you're looking for a durable finish, I'd suggest Powder Coating. You can get it in more colors than you can shake a stick at, and it don't chip.
Listed under "coatings" in your Yellow Pages.

they also sell the wrinkle paint that gives it a nice texture (usually comes in high temp applications)...you can always paint whatever color you want over that as well...i did this with plain old wrinkle black with my h22 (came all chipped and **** from hmotors) and it turned out quite well...looks like brand new...
