Default Resetting the ECU

Hey Guys
I just put on a whle bunch of mods on my 1990 Honda Accord LX and I was wondering which way is the best way to reset the ECU
I have read that you leave the car running and then pull the backup fuse then shut it off and turn it back on and run idle.

Which is the proper way to reset the ECU. Does disconnecting the battery really work??

Can someone tell me in detail how to reset the ECU and the best way???
Thanks

Actually, that doesnt fully reset the ECU. Pull the ECU and Hazard switch fuses.
Also, pulling off the negative terminal cant hurt.
