OB2 Scan..Can/Cant Do 96 Honda Accord
I have a 96 Honda Accord LX...
186Miles.Engine Type: F23A...theres a few complications with my car...
1. Idle
2. Acceleration is slow.
3. Low Beams dont work.
4. Maint. Req'D
I wanted to know if i can do a OB2 Scan on it? The Check Engine Light isnt on but i had scanned it, reseted the computer and the Trip A miles...drove 200 and now i should scan it to see if theres any problems right?...
I did an oil change and oil filter replacement three weeks ago..

If you have any issues they will likely turn up as soon as the car has warmed up. It doesn't need x amount of miles til it will throw a code. Have you tried replacing the distributor cap, distributor rotor, spark plugs, and the oxygen sensor with a Denso yet ?

Denso or Nippon Denso - ND, is the preferred manufacturer/brand of O2 sensor for our Accords. NTK/NGK is also a very reliable replacement O2 sensor option. Most will advise members to stay away from Universal fit or Bosch sensors as they tend to cause driveability issues after a short period of usage.
