Hi,
I have about 20K miles on my 03 accord 4-cyl EX, and I wanted to know what you guys recommend for replacement brake pads? I won't need them for a bit since I don't race it and don't do hard braking with it; I'm a pretty easy driver. I talked to one of my friends who recommended Brembo or kevlar brake pads as replacements. For pads, or pads & rotors/discs, what is recommended for a popular car like this, but for someone who wants to use high-quality brakes? Also, do I need to get a new ABS Sensor with any new set of brakes? I'd rather buy them and take them to my mechanic, who would gladly allow me to bring in the parts. I checked out http://www.bmaparts.com and they didn't have much for newer Accords.

Well OEM pads work great, but seem to dust alot (at least the OEM Nissin ones I had on before). Right now I have EBC Greenstuff, which is a low dust Kevlar type pad, and they've worked fantastic so far.... had them on for about 10k(?) miles. Still grip real well and, although they do still dust some, not nearly as much or as quickly as the OEM did. A buddy of mine swears by AEM pads, although I've never tried them myself, I know he knows his stuff so they must be good too. The only thing I don't like about using aftermarket pads instead of OEM is that they never seem to fit exactly right like the OEM do, and make some strange noises.

If you dont race a lot and it's a daily driver, you don't want metallic pads, like Axxis Metal Masters. They'll squeak a lot and drive you crazy. AEM pads are good, also look into raybestos and some of the other Axxis lines of pads

Tirerack.com has Brembo front blank rotors. AEM pads are good.

Those are the ceramic ones, correct?

Anyhow, pads from the dealer, NAPA, and pepboys/autozone will give you the experience of brake fade, pretty fast. From what I remember, AEM are good and they don't dust a lot. However, I don't think they have that warning noise to inform you that the brake pads are running low...so check up every once in a while so you don't cut the rotors. A few thousand miles ago, I installed PBR's or Axxis Metal Masters. They are very good, but squeak a hella lot, and cause massive amounts of dust. My black rims are turned clay red/brown.

My next set of pads will probably not be the PBR, but the EBC Greenstuff. Gotta try them.

Hm, ok, so out of all these brands, are there websites where I can fit them to my Accord? No idea where to buy these aftermarket pads and bmaparts.com has nothing for newer Accords right now.
