Prelude H22 Gas Mileage
I just hooked up on a 95 Accord with an H22a4. Its got all the bolt-ons. I used to have a 98 Accord 4 cyl. auto completely stock. I want to know how many miles I should be getting out of a full tank of gas in my 95 Accord. I know the H22 guzzles more gas than my 98 Accord but it seems like my gas is gone in a few days and I barely drove it. I might be running too rich but I don't know. I just want to check with other H22 owners. Thanks.

Re: Prelude H22 Gas Mileage (MugenAccordSedan)
just out of curiosity, I have a 98 4cyl auto and I get around 250 per tank (17gal. standard tank right?.) I guess this means I drive too hard on my car?

Re: Prelude H22 Gas Mileage (MAFA)

i have a 94 accord ex and it seems to eat gas, now i know i get a good bit less becuase i run it rich but i have never seen my low light come on and i have ridden on e for like a full day and then into night and went to get gas the next day, it was havin a time cranking the next morning but still the light never came on, and i get only 3-5 days on a full tank(and when i fill up the most i have ever filled up with was like 12 gallons), and its the stock f22 with a number of bolt-ons and the vtec controller.
but why havn't i seen my fuel light yet?

Yeah, and removing the power steering, not using the radio, head lights, brake and cornerlights would save you on gas. And oh yeah...why not put the gears into neutral when going down a hill, or when you got the momentum.
