Power windows problem 1993 Honda Accord lx
OK so my drivers side window recently started messing up. At first when cold outside I would have to help the window to completely roll up after about half way on drivers side all other windows work fine. Then last night driving home from work I decided to roll down my window then realized It might not go back up so I began to try and help it up and belive I heard a sound when I tried to help it . After that the window won't roll up or down I press the button to make it roll up and I hear one click if that. I was wondering if possibly I could have knocked it off track when. Trying to help it up or if the motor died on me I don't know much about power windows and always liked manual more because it was easier to fix. Please tell me if I need a new motor or a way to roll it up.all the way without messing something up right now my window is half way down and I need it to go up or possibly fix it if it is easy please help I would really appreciate it. It is also supposed to.rain tomarrow!

Sounds like a bad window motor. To see if it's working: Take the inner door panel off and disconnect the window motor connector. Apply 12v to one terminal and ground to the other. It should work as soon as both wires are connected, if it doesn't then the motor is bad.
Notes:
- It doesn't matter which terminal you apply 12V or ground to because an electric motor works the same both ways.
- Easiest way of getting voltage to stuff like that is to use your cordless drill battery. 18V for a couple of seconds won't kill it.
