PCV valve pops out easy
I changed my PCV valve recently in one of the steps of troubleshooting why my car idles bad. Oil was on one of my plugs when i switched them out and i switched out the pcv valve, problem solved, ive driven 2k miles with the new plugs and have been checking that one for oil every 250 miles or so and no oil.
anyway, my pcv valve pops out with little to no strain at all, it just seems kinda loose. should i have replaced the grommet that it goes into? should it be easy to pop out? could that cause idle problems if there is a leak there?

Re: PCV valve pops out easy
its kind of inbetween that. it seems to pop out a little too easy when warm. the old one took a good tug. is it better to replace grommets with the engine cold or warm?
