F22B Dohc vs. H23A1 swap
I own a 92 accord ex and I am considering doing an engine swap. I have read that the F22B dohc and the H23A1 motors are pretty similiar. Does one of these motors have an advantage over the other? Which swap will be easier?

none easier than the other. usdm h23 might be easier than a jdm f22b for smog or inspection reasons if your state requires that. id just go for whatever you can get the cheapest. but the h23 does have a little more tq, higher compression, and a bigger bore.

Re: F22B Dohs vs. H23A1 swap (92inprogress)
Can I use the F22A motor mounts and tranny with the H23? What all will I need to make sure I get to perform the swap?

Re: F22B Dohs vs. H23A1 swap (92inprogress)
well the F22B DOHC swap is very strait forward depending on the trim model of the accord only 2 main things that needs to be added and changed either converting the Dizzy to internal coil (which i did) and adding the IAB wire and tapping it into the ECU i have a EX trim model with a f22a1 that had no iab so i had to tap it into my ecu harness other i used all the old mounts and worked like a charm well.. other then the tranny mount cuase i did a auto to manual conversion.
