p1167 ecu error on a t plate honda accourd uk
p1166 ecu error on a t plate honda accourd
P1166 - Primary HO2S (No. 1) Heater System Electrical
P1167 - Primary HO2S (No. 1) Heater System
or
P1166 Air/Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Sensor 1) Heater System Electrical Problem
P1166 Heated Oxgen Sensor Sensor1 (Primary HO2S) Heater Circuit Malfunction
P1167 Air/Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Sensor 1) Heater System Malfunction
P1167 Heated Oxygen Sensor Sensor1 (Primary LAF HO2S) Heater System Malfunction
now the ecu software said about a a/f sensor but i none the wiser as to what could be the solution. now the garage is saying after talking with honda, that the following part should solve the problem.
37880-pda-e01 sensor ***
from the photos i have seen sent from honda it sits in the bottom of the engine and costs about £45 would this make sence to you? check the fuses, have cleared both error codes, and they come back again. so it would look like that might be the part to replace. any ideas?
see someone saying about a light test? but is it not better to use the details from the ecu software?
any help would be great as its using petrol like a fish loves water, and its running rough as a pit pony, its idleing at about 500, after resetting the ecu it was back to its normal 750.
hi all replaced the p1166 sensor and that has cleared. still got a p1167 any ideas? i am at a loss as what to do...
if you have any info email me at lordasb@hotmail.com, i will be check back here soon
thanks andy
