P1166 Ho2S (B2) (S1) Heater Failure
(New here, sorry if I posted in wrong forum.)
Model : 2002 Honda Accord Odometer : 108K
Check Engine light is ON. Scanned with CanOBD2 diagnosis tool. It shows P1166 Ho2S (B2) (S1) Heater Failure. I googled a bit and found out that my O2 sensor is not working.
What needs to be done? Oddly, my last car 98 Toyota Camry also had this issue. Is this just coincidence or somehow relates to driving habit?
Thank you

Re: P1166 Ho2S (B2) (S1) Heater Failure
The 3 things that cause o2 heater codes are the sensor, the PCM, or the wiring between the 2. In my experience, probably 95% of the time it turns out to be the sensor itself.
Driving habits have nothing to do with heater circuit failures.

Thank you for your reply.
Does it need to be changed immediately? Any impacts if don't get it changed i.e. does it fall under minor/major problem for car category?
