I have heard nothing but good things about them. Did you order new shocks yet? You will eventually need them

Re: Opinion on APEXi WS coilovers? (DunReit)
I did ask around quite a bit, heard nothing but good things. Just thought that I would post the question here as well for some reassurance after spending the money. I can't remeber who it was, but another HT member gave his recommendation for them.
I do not know the spring rate off the top of my head.
Thanks

Here's how they describe, my assumption from this is that they are made in-house.
APEXi N1 World Sports Coil Over Damper
WORLD SPORT DAMPER SYSTEM Affordable coil-over shocks for street Smooth ride characteristic, adjustable height In line with the concept pursued by the World Sport Muffler line, World Sport Damper Systems reflect A'PEX's interpretation of how a car's suspension should have felt and responded right from the factory. When developing suspension systems, car manufacturers generally tend to lean toward softer ride and cost-savings while sacrificing performance and safety. A'PEX responded by developing World Sport Damper Systems - an affordable line of coil-over suspension systems which enhance driver feedback and response, with good overall ride quality. We selected a monotube gas shock design and valved it specifically for the daily commuter who loves to drive. The adjustable perch allows ride height to be adjusted quickly with a spanner wrench. World Sport Damper Systems use the highest quality materials and are manufactured in-house at our Fuji, Japan factory to tightly monitor quality control and ensure years of reliable service

I know.
I do not have the spring rate.
I am guessing when I say that the shock would be made in-house @ APEXi. If not, I have not found anywhere where they list who's shock it is.

the WS coilovers use progressive rate springs... so as you lower the car more the rate goes up. i have a couple friends w/ them (one 5g and one 6g accords) and they both love em. everyone says they give stock, if not better ride. only thing is: they are non dampining adjustable. which you will kick yourself for if you ever do any competition at all(on track OR autocross). what i would have done, is spent the same if not a lil less money and gotten ground control coilover sleeves(w/ spring rates of your choice) + koni sport shocks (yellows, externally adjustable dampining) and been happy with that! oh wait, im biased. thats what i use, and thats what i love.

What I was really trying to find out was:
Has anyone on this board ever had them, or driven a car that had them? If so, what was your opinion. I am not really interested in the specifications of the product, just some feedback on the ride quality and handling characteristics from those of you who have used them.
I could call APEXi, but obviously, there opinion will be biased. Yours probably won't be.
Thanks

Re: Opinion on APEXi WS coilovers? (exaccord)
Thanks for the reply. I thought about getting the GC's and Koni's, but after asking around I was told that I would be happier with these. I do not have any plans on auto-crossing the car or running it at a track. My main concern was getting the ride height exactly where I want it, with the added benefit of better handling for everyday driving. I would have just gotten the Eibach Pro Kit, but all the Accords that I see with springs always seem to appear lower in the back. I figure with this set up I can get it level to slightly lower in front.
With that being said...good choice??

Yeah I have them on my 98 accord v6. When you just install them the ride quality is got be hard and rough, after they are broken in then the ride is gona be alittle bit softer... You will like them there one of the best.

Thanks for the reply. How far down do you have them? Did you do the install yourself? Easy or difficult? I assume it should be pretty straight forward and easy.
Any photos of the car?

I think the front is at 3" and the rear is at 2.75 am not sure I think its around there. Yeah I install them my self I also had help, the only difficut part is to compress your old spring so you can get the top cap out. but other than that its straight forward. It only took us 2 hour to do it. I would said that its easier to install then Spring and shock Combo

Re: Opinion on APEXi WS coilovers? (itchy)
The problem with Konis is that they don't handle spring rates over 400lb/in. In fact, no shock can handle that kind of load, unless you have it custom valved. Don't get me wrong, Koni makes an amazing shock, and I recommend them over any other brand, but if you want to run higher spring rates, you'll need to have them custom valved.
