No Spark????

No Spark????
I have an 1992 Honda Accord DX 2.2 4 cylinder manual. Replaced the intake gasket on it. I hooked up all the vacuum lines and electrical connectors. Now, the car will not crank. The car was running before I replaced the intake gasket. There is no fuel nor no spark. I replaced the main relay but, there still isn't any power to the yellow/blue wire which i believe to be the fuel pump. But, when i jump 12 volts to the yellow/blue wire the fuel pump runs but i still don't have any spark. I've check all the fuses all seem to be good. I replaced spark plug wires. I've check to see if voltage is getting to the coil which it is but there isn't any spark coming from the coil. This car coil is external then there is a spark plug wire that runs from the coil to the distributor cap. Everything was working on this car before the replacement of the intake gasket. What seems to be the problem???

Re: No Spark????
well you have the harness that runs under the intake you didn't pinch that did you? is the distributor hooked back up? what about the connection to the resistor box?

Re: No Spark????
Distributor is hooked up, where is the resistor box located?
And I don't believe so because those wires are wrapped in some kind of black plastic tubing.

Re: No Spark????
Correct im sure, I pulled the spark plug wire for cylinder 1 and put it close to metal and didn't see any spark. Also i pulled the wire from the ignition coil going to the distributor cap and still didn't receive any spark.

Re: No Spark????
I checked to fuses with a multimeter. There where some where the mutimeter didn't read any voltage. So, I pulled those fuses and they looked perfect i tried switching fuses around but still didnt result into a running car.

mmmm freaky **** but kinda sounds like the ignition control module might of gone out. i just noticed you said it doesn't crank......... how did you test for spark without cranking the engine??

Re: No Spark????
take out the ignition control module and go to autozne have it tested about 10 times in front of you to make sure it gets nice and hot. if it fails order a new one and ask for them to show you it passes the same test if it fails leave that autozone and find one with a working test machine.
