Need reply ASAP PLZ about radio code length
So sorry for these annoying threads but this is urgent
I recently got a 1996 honda accord 25th ann. edition used as my first car. Now, I replaced the standard cassette player with a new Sony CD player.
I am selling the old player, but I realized that I don't have a code. (no papers since it was used)
Anyway, I found what might be a code, a 5 digit code 'stickered' to the manual cover (which 5 digits is correct for this model) but only problem is that it starts w/ a letter (H), and the rest are numbers.
Could this be it? I don't see how a letter could work though,
Need reply ASAP thx

Re: Need reply ASAP PLZ about radio code length (Quintox)
nope the sticker is not the code; must be 5 digits numbers only.
But if you have the radio out, the local dealer parts dept. should be able to give you the code. Proof of car ownership is usually required.
Of course the best thing you can do is sell me the old honda unit for $5.00 + shipping, then you won't have to worry about getting codes and such other hassles

Yeah , I didn't think it could have letters,
and no offense, but $5 is a rip off, It was going for $20 until I had to cancel it since I couldn't find the code
