Need help replacing '03 Accord LX serpentine belt
Does anyone know if a special tool/socket is needed to change the serpentine belt on an '03 Accord LX (ie releasing the tension)? There is a place on the actual tensioner that looks like it could receive a special type of socket...OR and I moving in the wrong direction complete to change the belt. I have changed belts before with no problem, but this is the first time on my '03 Accord. I can't seem to find any info on the web and a friend suggested this site. Thanks!!

Re: Need help replacing '03 Accord LX serpentine belt (Crown99)
Are u refering to the alternator, ps, and ac belt? if so is there a tensioner on the 03 accord, i thought u just lossein up some of the alternator bolts and pull it down to loosen tension. im not postive but thats how 02 and below are if i remember correctly. If theres a tensionor that normally requires a 3/8" drive either rachet or breaker bar. again im not positive on the 03 accord though got some pics? i can prolly figure it out.
