unless you got air tools/hub press/access to a lift i'd take it to a mechanic because unforunatly for us (i have a 97 se as well) the rotors are pressed onto the hubs.

you shud be able to unscrew that nut on the rotor i think it might be a 18mm or 22mm socket. then pull it of and punch out the wheel bearings. just when putting it back on make sure u torque that bolt back on correctly, then back off the bolt, then finger tighten it.

its not that hard you just have to remove both the front spindles, you just unbolt the spindle nut,its a 36mm and the 4 14mm bolts, youll probably have to have someone hold the brakes while you do it. then remove all of your ball joints use a picklefork its easier than hammering them out. then you have to take off all of the brake parts there is 4 17mm's by doing this, once you have everything off you should be able to hammer out the axels while pulling forward on the spindles then you should be able to pull them out after you pull the lower ball joint out of its hole. after you pull the spindle out you want to spray some penetrant around the wheel bearings to loosen up all the stuff in there, then you remove all the other 4 bolts and just try to pry the wheel bearing out from the spindle and once you do then youll have it off. if you have any questions on how to do this email me its not that hard and i have had to do it a ton of times to replace my axels. i have timed it once 27 minutes taking them off thats pretty impressive. use this info only if u are changing the rotors.
1) remove the front wheels
2) remove brake calipers, caliper's brackets...
3) separate outer tie rods from steering knuckle
4) remove 17mm bolt holing strut to the lower control arm.
5) remove 36mm axle nut.
6) remove 17mm or 19mm nut for lower ball joint.
7) separate lower ball joint from control arm and remove axle from wheel hub.
8) there should be 4-10mm (12-pts) bolts behind wheel hub. remove those.
9) tap on bearing until the whole wheelbearing/brake rotor falls clear of the front hub.
10) remove the 4-14mm bolts holding the brake rotor to the hub and ur home free.

installation is the reverse of the removal process.

hope it has help.......ps this should take about 10-15 min to do per side. if it takes u longer than that then go back to study the steps carefully. of course i'm doing this with air tools too so good luck

THANKS for the replies guys...

i tried those steps...it seem there's a groove on the 36mm spindle nut that i have to ungroove and i have to take out 4 14mm bolt on the hub out first becase they sit on the 36mm nut but won't that take out the wheel bearing...i saw on wagner brake fax instructions that the hub and wheel bearing are pressed in and no need to separated.....is that true?
and i can't seem to budge any those nuts....
i need air tools....
any recomandation???
thanks once again...
